We live in a time where the words yoga, meditation and enlightenment are becoming common place.

These are only some of the words related to the Ulitmate Purpose of our existence across all of our moments and lives. Ultimately we are all searching for meaning and our deepest sense of purpose in life. Where did all of this come from. Why and to what end is this life? This is the perennial search of the soul for its Source and Creator. As we well know this is the basis of both science and religion. Although these two may seem to be different on the surface in their essence they are the same. The path of True Spirituality is the synthesis of them integrated into our day to day lives. When in truth true spirituality is neither "spiritual" nor "mundane". It is beyond all human labels. My understanding of spirituality is that it is the great culmination of all areas of our lives as ONE. It is the synthesizing principle and underlying substrate of our lives. Some call it Existence, The Self, God, The Universe, Energy, Light, Love, Life, Spirit etc. whatever we call it we are in a constant relationship with it. The more we cultivate and deepen our realization of our inherent oneness with It and our relationship with it the more we advance and grow spiritually.

We are all on the path and there is a point where we enter upon that path consciously. That point where our desire to know the Truth becomes so intense that it dims all other desires. That we want God above all else. At this point we become ripe for initiation and reach a great turning point in the evolution of our Souls. We enter upon the path of Return, also know as the path of enlightenment and liberation. Traditionally this was seen to be a path of physical renunciation, to become a monk or nun and live in a cave or a monastery, our task now it to achieve this in the world and in our modern lives. History is littered with examples of enlightened beings who were householders and business men and woman and did not fit the bill of a renunciate monk. We must personally and collectively overcome this out dated image of “spirituality” and embody a new paradigm, that of being fully in the world, living thriving successful human lives, while being fully Liberated in the Heart of Life. This is what is moving the collective culture forward, shifting the paradigm and closing the illusory gap between the spiritual and material worlds. This is true, integral success, the Divine birthright of all.
